Ohai folks! A friend of mine who lives in Sweden will be guest blogging here about the infamous spectrial that I posted about earlier. His name is plot (yes, with a lowercase 'p'), and I hope all of you will welcome him with open arms because he is fucking awesome. I am going to let him introduce himself, so have fun and enjoy! --ER

Hey everybody,

My name is plot, and I'm an atheist living in Stockholm, Sweden. I was brought up in a non-religious family so religion was never really an issue for me. Later in life I discovered how religion is still a problem in most parts of the world, and I started becoming more aware about the problems caused by religion. I have always been interested in science, particularly cosmology, and to quote ER: Praise science!

I met ER four years ago on an IRC channel in an obscure part of the internet, and we realized that we have a lot of things in common. IRC buddies for life, ER! However, I still think that Arch Linux is better than Gentoo (sorry!).

Not long after that, I became involved in the PiratbyrÄn and the Kopimi movement, and to make a long story short, I now attend court everyday in support of the defendants in The Pirate Bay Trial. I can say that the outpouring of public support for the defendants has been overwhelming, and that this trial is huge in the sense that the internet will never be the same again no matter what the end result may be.

I will be blogging daily about the trial from a spectator's perspective and I hope you enjoy my posts as much as I'm sure I will enjoy writing them. I am so excited to be a part of this wonderful blog and I'm looking forward to hearing comments from all of you.

You can find me on certain IRC channels (I also go by 'plot' on IRC) if you know where to look. Feel free to drop me a private message. I am also an avid fan of certain imageboards and the associated memes and culture.

Questions? Leave them in the comments and I will try to answer them as best as I can.

Kopimi love,
plot
