Have you ever seen a children's book that tells children that child sexual abuse (especially those caused by perverted uncles, of course) leads to you becoming totally gay later in life, only to find out that your so-called 'gayness' is you just dealing with the trauma of the abuse?

Is this insulting to gays? Yes.

Does this provide a glimpse of how fanatical homophobes seek to brainwash the young with their fucktarded lies? Yes.

While nobody is claiming that child sexual abuse has nothing to do with a child growing up confused about his/her sexuality; claiming that homosexuality isn't actually real, but a residue of sexual trauma is insensitive at best and downright bigoted at worst.

When this sort of fucktardery is presented as fact in a children's book, the travesty of the situation becomes over 9000 times worse.
