Mother still wants to kill her son

Remember the deluded fundie parents who were told by a judge not to kill their son by denying him medical treatment for his cancer? Now, the mother has gone AWOL with her son in order to avoid having to put her beliefs aside for the sake of her son's life.

This is what superstition does to people - it removes their ability to think rationally, and it causes them to put people they care about at risk.

Imagine how many others like her son are out there. Imagine how many other people are brainwashed into making idiotic decisions because their parents' irrational lunacies are the only things that make up their worldview. Imagine how many others never attract the attention of the courts. Imagine how many other lunatics are getting away with harming their children for the sake of superstition and irrationality.

*shudder*

Hopefully, she'll get V& soon and her brainwashed son will get the treatment he needs. Children should never have to pay the price for their parents' delusions.
