Same shit, different day

One of the questions that I've always had about religious nuts and random woo-peddlers alike is: Why do woo-nuts love trying to kill other woo-nuts off?
Idiotic and fanatical beliefs, when taken to their logical conclusion, can have (and almost always have) devastating effects.
In Saudi Arabia (yes, in 2010), a bunch of theocrats are more likely than not going to behead a man for 'sorcery'.
Never mind that 'sorcery' and 'fortune telling' has never been shown to work. Never mind that both sides are full of shit. Never mind that said 'sorcerer' was either deluded or a fraud.
What really matters is that there are those who think it is totally AWWRIGHT and even lawful to kill someone for going against their precious little peaheaded religious sensibilities. From the Inquisition to the Crusades to Saudi Arabian theocrats in the 21st century, it's just the same old shit - but a different day.
Be afraid. Be very afraid.
