I've met anti-science goons who were diagnosed with cancer and went running to their MD for treatment instead of trusting their "reliable" chiroquacker or homeopath or whatever kook they believed in. After they are all cured, they return to their nonsense and credit their favorite quacks with the cure. One of these idiots even wanted to heal the herniated discs in my back by waving her hands over my back. I laughed, had surgery, and am now fine.
