More on the theistarded sick fucks

In yet another example of theistarded puke-inducing behavior, churches are buying insurance policies to pay off people who have been sexually abused by the clergy. Apparently the love of god isn't enough to stop sexual abuse. Apparently their religion doesn't do a thing to promote good behavior - or to stop the clergy from blatantly abusing their position of power to exploit their theistarded flock. Apparently the church is aware of the sexual abuse problem while refusing to address the root of the problem.

[sarcasm]Sexual abuse by the clergy? It's AWWRIGHT because it is religion! It's even more AWWRIGHT when you can easily pay your victims off, amirite? It's AWWRIGHT for someone in the ultimate position of power (holding the keys to the afterlife) in a theistards' life to abuse and take advantage of the trust placed in them by theistarded sheep. It's AWWRIGHT, and we shouldn't address the root of the problem because it would cause religion to look bad, and it might piss of some religious folk. Remember, we are talking about religion here, and religion always provides an instant, magical barrier to criticism.

Religion: It's AWWRIGHT![/end sarcasm]

All this goes to show is that religion doesn't work. Religion doesn't help us lead a moral life, religion doesn't help dirty old priests keep their hands to themselves, religion doesn't make people less likely to commit crimes, religion doesn't....and the list goes on. Abstinence and celibacy simply do not work. Going against basic biology does not work. People who still think that sexual abuse is not a problem among supposedly 'celibate' and sex-deprived clergy need to get their heads out of their anal cavities and start confronting reality.
